CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that lets you get the dental care you need now and pay for it over time with convenient monthly payments. Dr. Steven W. Haywood, DDS accepts CareCredit for care at our Timonium office, from routine visits to dental implants and Invisalign.

How CareCredit works at our office

  • Apply online. Complete a short application at carecredit.com. It only takes a few minutes, and you’ll get a decision right away.
  • Plan your treatment. If you’re approved, you’ll see your credit limit, so you can plan your care with confidence.
  • Use it at your appointment. Let our team know you’d like to pay with CareCredit when you arrive, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What you can use it for

CareCredit can be used for any dental treatment we offer, including dental implants, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and routine cleanings. Once you’re approved, you can use the card again for future dental and healthcare needs, and manage your account online or in the CareCredit app.

No-interest financing options

CareCredit offers no-interest financing options for up to 12 months on qualifying purchases. Final terms and promotional plans are set by CareCredit and are subject to credit approval, so please review the current offers at carecredit.com before you apply. When you finance, a down payment is customary to keep your monthly payments lower.

Common questions

Can I apply before my appointment?

Yes, and we encourage it. Applying ahead of time means you can come in knowing exactly what your payment options are.

Will applying affect my credit score?

CareCredit may use a hard inquiry, depending on your application. If you’d rather see your options with a soft credit check, Cherry is our other financing partner.

Can I use CareCredit with dental insurance?

Yes. We are out of network with insurance companies: you pay at the time of your visit, and we file the claim so your plan can reimburse you. CareCredit can cover what you pay, and health savings and flex plans are welcome too.

Do cash courtesies apply if I finance?

No. Our prepayment courtesy and special pricing are for full payment by cash or check, and they can’t be combined with CareCredit or Cherry.
