Madi Backel

I have been a dental assistant for over eight years and was inspired by my grandmother, who worked for many years as a dental hygienist with Dr. Haywood. Having grown up in this office and in the surrounding community, dentistry has always felt like home to me.

I recently became an EFDA and truly enjoy seeing my patients’ smiles when they see the results of their care. I take pride in helping patients feel comfortable and relaxed, and I look forward to meeting you!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my twin sister and two nephews who live in West Virginia.

Madi’s goal of helping patients feel comfortable and relaxed runs through the whole office. It is spa-inspired, with soothing paraffin wax hand treatments, calming aromatherapy and a Nespresso station, and every treatment room is cleaned and sterilized after each patient.
